These are the commonly published limits for SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD and other SSC exams. Requirements can change with each notification, so always confirm with the official notice on ssc.gov.in before you submit.

How to resize your photo for SSC

  1. Open the MediaShift SSC tool and choose Photo.

  4. Save both files and upload them on the SSC portal.

Common reasons SSC rejects a photo

  • File larger than 50 KB or smaller than 20 KB.
  • PNG, HEIC or PDF instead of JPG.
  • Blurry, dark or old photo, or a busy background.
  • Signature in capital letters or signed with a pencil.
